Dear Friends:
You may be surprised to hear me say this, but one of the most difficult questions I get asked is “How can I get involved?”. Not because there are no opportunities, but because of the truly dozens and dozens of ways people can, and currently are, assisting in our mission. Many ways are extremely visible, from volunteering on the job site to working at the ReStore, but there are others that are not so obvious and they are vital to our success. We have individuals who serve on our 7 different operating committees, folks who prepare lunch for our volunteers, dedicated professionals who serve on our Board of Directors, and those who advocate for our cause within their sphere of influence. All are immensely important to what we do and all fit based on the unique talents, abilities, and personal situation for those particular volunteers.
