As a non-profit organization, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley relies on the generous donations of our community in order to accomplish our Mission of providing simple, decent, affordable housing for deserving families. There are multiple ways for you to contribute to the work of HFHSVV, and all donations are tax-deductible. |

Financial: Every house Habitat builds costs nearly $65,000 in addition to land. Your one-time or monthly monetary donations make it possible for us to continue to build homes in our community. And because HFHSVV is committed to an operating budget of no more than 14%, you are assured that the majority of every dollar you give will go directly to the cost of a home for a deserving family. |

Building Materials: In order to ensure our commitment to maintain the lowest cost of construction among all housing developers, both commercial and non-profit, in the St. Vrain Valley, HFHSVV relies upon the donation of building materials for every house we build. New or gently-used donations are welcomed from individuals or businesses. |

|
Skilled Labor: A large portion of the labor for every house is donated by individuals with a willing heart but no construction experience. A portion of every home, however, requires the work of skilled laborers in order to meet municipal building codes as well as to ensure the safety and quality of the home. While HFHSVV is prepared to pay for the necessary labor, the donation of these services decreases the cost of each home. |

Land: Perhaps the most difficult task in the home-building process is the acquisition of affordable land on which to build. The donation or discounted sale of suitable property is one of the most instrumental ways to impact Habitat’s ability to change the life of a family. |

ReStore: The profit from the store is applied directly to the funding of our affordable housing work. If you have building material or home furnishings to donate to the ReStore, call us at 303-776-3334. |
